Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Home » DEI Statement

As a minority-owned company with a diverse team, we have first-hand experience with the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Since our founding, we have collaborated with a broad range of industries across the globe and have always prioritized making all of our team members and our customers feel valued, respected, and heard.

We invite everyone to be themselves, always.

Promoting a Culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Group Meetings

Four times a year, AH teams from around the world come together in an inclusive and secure space, both virtually and in-person, to share work stories and discuss best business practices. It’s a time of mutual reciprocity and profound respect as team members from different races, genders, cultures, religions, and dialects make time to really listen to one another, working together to achieve a shared vision.

In addition to quarterly meetings, the AH leadership team looks forward to meeting once a week with team members from six different countries. This diversity of backgrounds fosters a culture of openness and care along with a lively curiosity about our different histories, languages, and daily experiences.

Holidays

We see holidays as an opportunity to explore the remarkable diversity of backgrounds at AH. Each year, team members commune over a potluck meal that brings together their favorite ethnic foods. Some of us wear ethnic clothing, while others show up just as they are—all are welcome.

Always Striving to Do and Be Better

As we work hard to create and maintain a culture of trust, kindness, and belonging, we’re the first to recognize that there’s always room for improvement. Here’s how AH is working to become better leaders, better team players, and better people:

  • We take regular surveys to gauge DEI awareness among team members.
  • We openly discuss and promote diversity, equitable practices, and a sense of inclusivity among all our staff, starting with senior management.
  • We provide a welcoming and safe platform to discuss and share experiences and concerns. We welcome a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coach to collaborate with us and help our team members be more mindful, generous, and aware of different viewpoints, experiences, and backgrounds.
